Herbal Foundations Certificate Program

Sage Woman Herbs & Clinic is excited to announce our 2009 Herbal Foundations Program!

The Sage Herbal Foundations Program is a certification course for those with a strong interest in the field of natural medicine. The Foundations program consists of 16 classes designed to provide a solid base of herbal knowledge for those wishing to effectively incorporate herbal healing into their lives. Students taking the Sage Herbal Foundation Certificate Program will complete several projects, including the documentation of an herbal healing experience, as well as designing and creating their own herbal preparation for our Herbal Gathering and Market Place. Students should plan to attend all classes.

Students who miss classes will need to write a 4-6 page, typed, double spaced summary of the class based on either the notes or a tape recording of the class. A maximum of 4 classes may be missed and still successfully complete the program and receive a certificate. Several proctored examinations will be conducted throughout the course of the program and students must pass all exams.

Location: Classes will be held in a suite in the 108 E. Cheyenne Road building, where Sage Woman Herbs & Clinic is located. The final Herb Walk is the only exception.

Fee Schedule The following fee schedule must be adhered to in order to successfully graduate from the program and receive a certificate:

April 1st........$54 due
Total...................$450

Discount: Pay in full by October 29th, 2009 and receive a $25 discount.

Refund policy is as follows:
If you are making payments according to the payment schedule, and are unable to complete the program, you will not be eligible for a refund.

If you pay in full for the program and are unable to complete it, you will receive a refund of all money paid, minus all of the payments due according to the fee schedule, minus $25.

	The initial deposit is due September 10th. Classes to be held on Thursday evenings from September 17th, 2009 through June 2010. The final class will be held on Saturday. The Sage Herbal Foundation Certificate Program is a series of 16 classes designed to provide a solid overview for those wishing to effectively incorporate herbal healing into their lives. Class will be taught by Clinical Herbalist Valerie Blankenship of Sage Woman Herbs.
