This Houttuynia Cordata tincture as a percolation using a 1:5 ratio. It was made using lab tested, dried leaves and stems, organic cane alcohol, filtered water and glycerine. The Pin Yin Name for this herb is Yu Xing Cao, which translates into English literally as "Fishy Smelling Herb." Fresh cut stems have a strong odor, but the smell disappears when dried.
Houttuynia has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to clear heat and toxins. It is particularly beneficial to the Lung and Large Intestine channels.
