Cat's Claw tincture of Wildcrafted Uncaria tomentosa inner bark is widely known as an anti-inflammatory among many other properties, and it is often used for Lyme Disease as a recommendation for Buhner's Protocol.*
This tincture of Wildcrafted Uncaria tomentosa inner bark was made in our lab using Organic Gluten Free Cane Alcohol, ultra-filtered water, glycerine and the Cold Percolation process (1:5, 50%)
Uncaria tomentosa, also known as uña de gato in Spanish, has aptly received its name due to its sharp, curved thorns. Cat’s Claw originates from the Amazon forests in South and Central America, where its vines can be seen climbing up to heights 100 feet tall--its “claws” grasping onto the surrounding trees.
Cat's Claw has many claims to its ability as an anti-inflammatory*. It contains compounds that make it extremely useful in reducing swelling, especially in cases of arthritis and joint pain.* Cat's Claw is one of the primary herbs recommended in Stephen Buhner's Core Protocol for Lyme Disease as well. Other traditional uses for Cat’s Claw range from boosting the immune system, aiding gastrointestinal system symptoms, and fighting viral infections.*
60 drops or 2 droppers or 1/2 teaspoon, 2-3 times daily (same dosage for Lyme Disease).

Cat's Claw Bark Tincture
Like many others, I am battling Lyme disease. For me, Lyme disease primarily produces inflammation in my joints as arthritis, so modulating my immune system such that it doesn’t produce the inflammation that Lyme disease wants is very important. I purchased 8 ounces of cat’s claw, because Stephen Buhner recommends it as part of his core protocol. It has the additional benefit of reducing bacterial activity and swelling in my mouth, such that my oral canker sores are gone and I’m not biting the inside of my cheeks anymore. I also have seen a lessening of joint pain over time, but I realize it takes a long time to re-modulate an immune system that Lyme has basically turned to its purpose for many years. I plan to use Sage Woman cats claw tincture for long-term to help me defeat Lyme disease and finally return to a normal life. Thanks, Ben
