Cocoa Butter is a rich aromatic butter pure prime pressed from the seeds of the Cacao Tree (Theobroma cacao). The Cocoa Butter is run through the press, which separates the Cocoa Butter (Cocoa Fat) from the Cocoa Seeds. Pure means there are no additives, and Prime Press means this Cocoa Butter is made by first press from Cocoa Beans. Our Cocoa Butters are pure food grade, have a rich pleasant chocolate aroma, and can be used both as a culinary ingredient or in cosmetic products.
Cocoa Butter is a high quality emollient, a skin softening and moisturizing agent and can help the skin retain moisture. It also contains natural antioxidants that actually help prevent rancidity and spoilage.

Directions: To Prepare Butters: Melt in a double boiler and combine them with a liquid carrier oil; pour into a container and allow to solidify at room temperature. This process will make the butter a softer consistency and will apply easier to the skin.
