Loose Incense cedar (Calocedrus decurrens) leaves.
The lush foliage has a rich, spicy resinous perfume that is released when crushed or burned as a smudge. Burn alone or with white sage as a lovely incense. For best results, burn on a small piece of charcoal. It may be used to fill a muslin bag and tucked into a pillow, used in an eye pillow, potpourri or it may be burned to release its fragrance.
